THE REDEEMED OF THE LORD PART II.

2nd Corinthians 5 vs 19

A man (Adam) was the cause of sin in the world but man was not in the position, rather man does not have the power to save himself from the wrath of sin and the separation from God that emanated as a result of sin. God loved man so much that he wanted to reconcile man back to himself, so he made himself come in form of flesh ( man) i.e. his son a pure image of God. He stood in the position of man and bore the wrath of sin (death)  on behalf of man (Ephesians 1 vs 7). A man brought death and sin into the world, God also used a man to stand in the Gap between death and sin (Romans 5 vs 12 - 19).

Ezekiel 37 vs 1 - 14

Just as the dry bones in the book of Ezekiel, so we once were until the word of the Lord came unto us then we believed and came alive.

 2nd Corinthians 5 vs 18 - 21

Just as through Christ we came to God, God also wants more people to be aware of his free grace and come to him through Christ.

Therefore we have been given the ministry of reconciliation. God wants us to reconcile more men back to him.

After receiving Christ and the life of God, his spirit inclusive just as the dry bones in the book of Ezekiel. You need to dwell in the gathering of the brethren which is the church of God so that you can understand and learn how the redeemed of the Lord should live. You can't learn it else where except at the house of the Lord.

As a redeemed of the Lord, you have to follow duly the rules and ways by which you can be perfected. You can't be in the kingdom and be negligent to the things of the kingdom, it's either you are in light or in darkness, it's either you are in the world or in the kingdom. You must take due position of service as a redeemed in the kingdom. Remain blessed!!

THE REDEEMED OF THE LORD.

Colossians 1:13-14

1:13     Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son
1:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

WHAT IS REDEMPTION?

Redemption according to the Greek translation means to be rescued, saved and to be bought with a price or ransom.

Our redemption as believers was through the blood of Jesus Christ just as our Bible text says(Ephesians 1 vs 7).

Now let's look at some terms from our text so we can get a hold of what we're talking about here.

➡️Deliverance is "Rhoulai" in Greek which means to be rescued or to rescue especially from danger and destruction.

➡️Dominion is "exousia" in Greek meaning authority, power and weight.

➡️ Darkness is "skotoz" in Greek which refers to a force or hold, being under the control of a force.

➡️ Translated is to move to a place , changing position or a transfer.

➡️ Kingdom in Greek means authority, rule and kingship.
Now we've known this basis, let's continue with our lessons.

Firstly,  we were under the rule, hold and authority of the devil(Ephesians 2 vs 1 - 9) but God through his love changed our positions, then he transferred us into the authority of his son. He bought us with a price and still did not leave us to wander aimlessly! Rather he  transferred us into his kingdom under his righteous rule: Hallelujah!!
